We are delighted to present a range of excellent Red Burgundies from the superb trio of vintages. Although, notoriously difficult to generalise the consensus is that 2005 and 2009 are outstanding vintages for Red Burgundy. The wines are deep and in the case of the 2005’s more powerful with more obvious tannins and the 2009’s are fruit-forward, ripe and lush. The 2007’s are seductive and beautifully balanced (also the same with the whites) with lovely expressive fruits and long flavours where everything is in harmony.

Irrespective of general vintage views these wines all show great individual characteristics and about half the selections are in Magnum along with a handful of 3L Jeroboams. This is a great opportunity for Red Burgundy to bag some outstanding Pinots that will deliver great enjoyment starting from under €40 euro per bottle (ex taxes).
