Biondi-Santi’s Il Greppo Estate is where in the late 19th Century the story of Brunello was born. The star of the show is the iconic Riserva bottlings which are long-aged and released six years after the harvest. These are some of the finest vintages produced.

Gianfranco Soldera’s Case Basse Estate is legendary and the wines are amongst Italy’s most sought after. The Riservas show an extra dimension and consistency and since its debut in 1977, it achieved a cult-like status.

Casanova di Neri has developed a stellar reputation since its inception in 1971. This was further augmented with the debut vintage in 1981 from old Sangiovese Grosso vines sourced from the Estate’s Cerretalto Vineyard. Cerretalto is the pinnacle of the Estate which is reflected in the critical acclaim it has consistently garnered with most vintages awarded at least 95/100. These are outstanding vintages with the 2006 receiving 99pts from James Suckling & Wine Advocate, the 2013 gaining 98pts from Wine Spectator and 97pts from James Suckling & Wine Advocate and 2015 100pts from James Suckling and 99pts Wine Advocate.Pierro Palmucci, Founded Poggio di Sotto in 1989 and since its inception it has been seen as one of the greatest producers of Brunello di Montlacino. The Riserva wines are rich and concentrated in their youth and with age they develop almost Burgundian-like ethereal elegance. The 1995 is a stunning example rich with succulent red berry fruits and a seductive silky texture.
